Lois Mae (Lockart) Rohlfing of Ventura, California passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 89. She was born on November 21, 1933 in Maudlow, MT, the daughter of Virgil F. Lockart and Lela C (Reed) Lockart. The family later moved to Vandalia, IL. She married Wilbert Herman Rohlfing in Augsburg, IL on January 14, 1956.
Lois graduated from Vandalia Community High School in 1951. She worked for various businesses including Vandalia Community Schools, Vandalia, IL as a school secretary, the US Navy Daycare Center, Port Hueneme, CA as a civil service worker, and Ted Mayer Funeral Home, Ventura CA as a receptionist.
Lois was actively involved in church, community, and local politics. She volunteered with the Rubicon Theatre of Ventura, CA an
