Leslie Allen Hipsher, better known as "Les", 76, of Brownstown, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 21, 2024 at the First Christian Church, Brownstown, where Les was a member, with Pastor Nathan Brands officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00-11:00 AM, Friday at the church. Per Les's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral. Leslie Allen Hipsher was born on August 28, 1947, in Vandalia, the son of William Elbert "Shorty" and Marie Evelyn (Largent) Hipsher. Les graduated from Brownstown High School, Class of 1966. He married Daisy June Ludens on April 22, 1972; together they celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage and raised three children before her passing on January 25, 2022.
