Vivian L. Walker, 71, of Vandalia formerly of Charleston, passed away July 2, 2024 at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL.
Per Vivian's wishes cremation rites will be accorded and services will be held at a later date.

Vivian Leslie Forbis was born August 25, 1952, the daughter of Kenneth Dale and Lula Mae (Moiren) Forbis. She married Roger E. Walker on March 06, 1985; they were married nearly 40 years.
Vivian was quite an accomplished woman; she held a Masters Degree from Eastern IL University and was an addictions counselor for 17 years and took a tremendous amount of pride in helping others. Vivian loved spending time with her grandchildren and never missed a birthday, holiday, or other chance to be with them. She enjoyed attending concerts, Cubs games and spending time with her close friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Walker of Vandali
