Garry L. "Squeak" Crane, 81, of Vandalia, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at SBL Fayette County Hospital.
Per Garry's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 31, 2025 at Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Vandalia, with Pastor Dustin Ruble officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at McInturff Cemetery, rural Vandalia, at a later date. Garry Lee Crane was born on December 13, 1943 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Virgil Louis and Eloise V. (Jarrett) Crane. He first married Janet (Larimer) and together they had a son, Kent. Garry later married Shirley (Grisham); she preceded in death on February 14, 1998.
